Opening GP Practices
In response to the news reports relating to how GP Practices are “having to open up”. We would like to assure our patients that we are open and continuing to provide services just as we have been doing throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Face to face appointments have always been available to all where there is clinical need.
During April we carried out a total of 4,335 face to face, telephone and video consultations and over 1,000 Covid-19 vaccinations.
Appointments are delivered either by face to face, telephone or video calls – our team will assess with you what the most appropriate method is. Staff here at Keighley Road Surgery will ask you be specific about your health needs, the GPs here tell staff to ask this so we can help you.
We are also delivering the Covid-19 vaccination programme on top of the day to day which involves our clinicians and staff giving up weekends to ensure our patients receive their jabs.
Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in abuse directed towards our staff. The GPs tell our staff to ask for specific information about your health needs where you are comfortable doing this. Please remember that we are here to help you, so please be kind when speaking to us.
